Matcha Tea

Matcha is a perfect pick-me-up. This recipe uses hemp milk and is lightly sweetened with honey or agave.

 

Ingredients

2 tsp matcha powder

1-2 tbsp honey or agave nectar

1 1/4 c hemp milk (vanilla unsweetened) or other milk

1/2 c water

Instructions

  1. Whisk matcha with 1/4 c water in a small saucepan until there are no lumps.
  2. Add remaining 1/4 c water and milk. Heat over medium, stirring often, until steaming, but not boiling.
  3. Add honey/agave and stir until it has melted in to the tea.
  4. Divide between two cups and serve!
